Liverpool Unleashes Offensive Power in Commanding Anfield Victory
Liverpool, January 28, 2026 – Liverpool delivered a dominant offensive performance at Anfield, overcoming Qarabag with a convincing victory in the UEFA Champions League group stage. Despite an early substitution in the 4th minute, the home side quickly took control of the match.
Alexis Mac Allister opened the scoring in the 15th minute with a goal assisted by Virgil van Dijk. Liverpool’s constant pressure paid off again in the 21st minute, when Florian Wirtz, assisted by Hugo Ekitike, extended the lead.
After the break, Mohamed Salah scored the third goal in the 50th minute, assisted by Dominik Szoboszlai.
