Thrilling Draw at Anfield as Liverpool and Atletico Madrid Share Spoils
Liverpool, September 17, 2025 – In a match full of intensity and twists, Liverpool and Atletico Madrid drew at Anfield in the first matchday of the UEFA Champions League group stage. The encounter, officiated by Italian referee Maurizio Mariani, ended with a 3-2 result that perfectly reflects the constant battle between both teams.
Liverpool started strongly, dominating possession with 56% and showing great effectiveness in the opening minutes. In the 4th minute, A. Robertson opened the scoring with a goal, assisted by M.
