Panetolikos Edges Levadiakos in a Card-Filled Match
Levadia, Greece – Panetolikos defeated Levadiakos 2-1 in a thrilling match at Stadio Levadias on Tuesday, May 14th, in the 8th round of the Greek Super League 1 relegation round. The game was characterized by a high number of yellow cards, with five shown to Levadiakos and three to Panetolikos.
Levadiakos took the lead in the 11th minute with an own goal by V. Nikolaou. However, Panetolikos fought back, equalizing with a penalty converted by G. Liavas in the 39th minute. A. Tetteh then scored the winning goal for Panetolikos in the 45th minute.
Despite dominating possession with 64%, Levadiakos struggled to convert their chances, managing only one shot on target from 15 attempts.
