Leixões thrashed FC Porto B in a thrilling match
Leixões achieved a resounding victory over FC Porto B at the Estádio do Mar in Matosinhos by 3-0 in the ninth round of the Portuguese Second League.
The match began with an intense pace and Leixões showed dominance from the first minute. Rafael Martins opened the scoring in the 37th minute with a quality goal, assisted by Henrique Gelain.
Leixões extended the lead before the break thanks to a goal from Werton in the 45th minute, without assistance.
In the second half, Leixões continued to dominate the match and increased the score with a third goal from Rafael Martins in the 87th minute, this time without assistance.
FC Porto B tried to react, but failed to overcome Leixões’ defense.
