AC Milan staged a comeback victory against Lecce at the Stadio Ettore Giardiniero – Via del Mare, winning 4-2 in a Serie A matchday 28 clash of the 2024 season. Lecce took an early lead with a goal from Krstovic in the 7th minute, assisted by Helgason. Krstovic scored again for Lecce in the 59th minute, assisted by Guilbert, making it 2-0. However, Milan fought back with an own goal by Gallo in the 68th minute. Pulisic scored a penalty in the 73rd minute and then secured the victory with a goal in the 81st minute, assisted by Leao. The match was characterized by Milan’s dominance in possession (71% vs 29%), shots (16 vs 11), and corners (7 vs 2). Both teams received yellow cards: Berisha and Krstovic for Lecce, and Conceicao and Abraham for Milan.
