Independiente del Valle defeats LDU de Quito in an exciting match
Quito, Ecuador (November 9, 2024). Independiente del Valle beat LDU de Quito 3-1 in an exciting 2nd Round – 13 match of the Liga Pro 2024, played at the Estadio Rodrigo Paz Delgado.
The match started at a fast pace and it was Independiente del Valle who opened the scoring in the 17th minute with a goal from J. Medina, assisted by J. Ortiz. LDU de Quito reacted quickly and equalized the game in the 45th minute with a goal from A. Arce, assisted by M. Julio.
In the second half, Independiente del Valle regained control of the match and managed to score two more goals. F. Cornejo scored the second goal in the 62nd minute, assisted by M. Estrada, and M. Estrada scored the third in the 84th minute, assisted by F. Cornejo.
