Lausanne comfortably defeated FC Winterthur with a convincing victory
Lausanne achieved a comfortable 2-0 victory over FC Winterthur in a Swiss Super League match played at the Stade de la Tuilière.
The game started with a yellow card for R. Arnold of FC Winterthur in the 3rd minute. However, Lausanne took control of the game and opened the scoring in the 8th minute with a goal from A. Sanches, assisted by K. Koindredi.
FC Winterthur tried to react, but Lausanne continued to dominate the game and extended their lead in the 23rd minute with a goal from A. Ajdini, assisted by F. Diabate.
Lausanne controlled the game with 40% possession and 23 shots, 10 of which were on target. FC Winterthur, despite having 60% possession, could only manage 10 shots, 2 of them on target.
