Tigre Upsets Lanús in Hard-Fought Buenos Aires Match
Buenos Aires, Argentina – In a match corresponding to the Round of 16 of the Liga Profesional Argentina, Tigre defeated Lanús at the Estadio Ciudad de Lanús with a lone goal from D. Romero early in the second half.
The match, played on November 27, 2025, saw Lanús dominate possession, holding the ball for 69% of the time, but failing to translate that superiority into goals.
