Kallithea defeats Lamia in a tense Greek Super League match
Kallithea defeated Lamia 2-0 in a match played at the Dimotiko Athlitiko Kentro Lamias, corresponding to the second round of the relegation round of the Greek Super League 1. The match, refereed by Vassilis Fotias, was marked by tension and an accumulation of yellow cards.
Kallithea, despite having less possession (45%), showed greater offensive efficiency. They scored two goals: the first by M. Alfarela in the 45th minute, assisted by A. Mercati; and the second, scored by K. Lebon in the 78th minute, assisted by P. Soiri. Lamia, with 55% possession, only managed 4 shots, only one of them on target. Kallithea, on the other hand, took 11 shots, 3 of them on target.
