Spartak Trnava Beats Komárno in a Thrilling Match
Zlaté Moravce, Slovakia (November 9, 2024) – Spartak Trnava defeated Komárno 2-1 in a match of the 14th round of the Slovak Super League, played at the Štadión FC ViOn. The match was marked by tension and yellow cards, with a total of four for each team.
The match started at a frenetic pace, with both teams looking for the goal from the outset. However, the first half was characterized by a lack of clear scoring chances and yellow cards. First it was M. Duris (Spartak Trnava) in the 7th minute, followed by G. Nagy (Komárno) in the 10th and G. Ganbayar (Komárno) in the 25th. A. Zeljkovic (Spartak Trnava) received the fourth yellow card in the 38th minute.
The second half started with Komárno opening the scoring. G. Ganbayar, assisted by J. Sylvestr, scored the 1-0 in the 52nd minute. However, the joy was short-lived. Spartak Trnava equalized the match in the 61st minute through R. Prochazka, who scored a penalty.
Spartak Trnava continued to press and finally managed to turn the score around in the 90th minute. M. Kratochvil, assisted by A. Zeljkovic, scored the final 2-1.
