Rangers thrashed Kilmarnock in a thrilling match at Rugby Park. Dominating possession with 61%, Rangers asserted their superiority from the start, although Kilmarnock took an early lead with two quick goals from J. Wright (11′) and B. Lyons (14′). The game heated up with yellow cards for K. Magennis and I. Hagi in the 18th minute. Rangers responded with a goal from V. Cerny in the 35th minute, and then in the second half, Dessers scored twice (53′ and 62′), sealing the comeback. Bajrami (85′) added another to complete the rout. The match ended 5-2, despite further yellow cards throughout the game and Kilmarnock’s efforts, which included 10 shots on goal compared to Rangers’ 7.
