Kilmarnock and Dundee played out a thrilling 3-3 draw at The BBSP Stadium Rugby Park in the 2024 Scottish Premiership, Round 3 of the second phase. Referee D. Robertson oversaw a match filled with drama and late goals.
Kilmarnock took the lead on 31 minutes with a penalty scored by D. Armstrong. Dundee fought back, equalizing in the 76th minute through L. Cameron, assisted by O. Adewumi. Kilmarnock regained the lead at 77 minutes with a goal from B. Anderson, but Dundee struck again in the 90th minute with another goal from L. Cameron. However, Kilmarnock responded immediately, scoring again in the 90th minute through R. Deas, to secure the draw.
The match was a fiercely contested affair, with a total of 21 fouls committed. Dundee enjoyed 59% possession, while Kilmarnock had more shots on target (7 vs 4). Three yellow cards were shown, two to Dundee and one to Kilmarnock. Despite the draw, the game provided an exciting spectacle for the fans.
