An exciting AFC Cup clash ended with a 2-1 victory for Tractor Sazi over Khalidiya at the Bahrain National Stadium in Riffa. The match, played on February 11th, 2025, was characterized by even possession (50% each) and a flurry of yellow cards. Three players received yellow cards in the opening stages: M. Hashemnejad and R. Alves of Tractor Sazi, and D. Mendy of Khalidiya. Khalidiya took the lead in the 48th minute through a goal by M. Al Romaihi, assisted by M. Al Humaidan. However, Tractor Sazi responded swiftly, scoring two quick goals. A. Hosseinzadeh equalized in the 50th minute, assisted by M. Naderi, and D. Drozdek secured the lead in the 55th minute. Despite numerous substitutions in the second half and an additional yellow card for S. Dabo of Khalidiya, Tractor Sazi held on to win. The match saw a high number of shots, with Khalidiya registering 14 (5 on target) and Tractor Sazi 11 (6 on target). Referee Faisal Alali, along with assistants Ahmed and Jordan, oversaw a tense and closely fought match.
