KFUM Oslo Stuns Rosenborg in Goal-Filled Match
Oslo, August 3, 2025 – In a vibrant encounter held at the KFUM Arena, KFUM Oslo defeated Rosenborg on matchday 16 of the Eliteserien. The match, officiated by Daniel Higraff, was a festival of goals and emotions.
KFUM Oslo took the lead in the 17th minute with a goal by D. Hickson, assisted by O. Okeke. Despite dominating possession (58%), the home team received a yellow card for M. Sinyan in the 34th minute. Rosenborg managed to equalize in the 52nd minute thanks to a penalty converted by D. Islamovic.
However, KFUM Oslo reacted strongly. O. Okeke scored in the 73rd minute, assisted by S. Hestnes, and repeated the feat in the 76th minute, again assisted by S. Hestnes, extending the lead for his team. Rosenborg, who received a yellow card for S. Nordli in the 80th minute, struggled to get back into the game but couldn’t contain KFUM Oslo’s attack. In the final minute of regular time, H. Volden scored an own goal that sealed the victory for KFUM Oslo.
KFUM Oslo dominated the game with 58% possession and generated more goal-scoring opportunities, with 12 total shots compared to Rosenborg’s 4. Although both teams had the same number of corners (3), KFUM Oslo committed more fouls (15) than Rosenborg (8).
