Kerala Blasters secured a 1-0 victory over Jamshedpur FC in a thrilling encounter at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Kochi. The match, part of the 24th round of the 2024 Indian Super League season, saw Kerala Blasters dominate possession (55%) despite Jamshedpur having slightly more shots (13 to 12).
The decisive goal came in the 35th minute, courtesy of K. Singh, assisted by D. Lagator. Jamshedpur’s efforts were hampered by an own goal in the 86th minute from M. Drincic, sealing the win for Kerala Blasters. The game was a tense affair, with Jamshedpur receiving two yellow cards (M. Uvais in the 13th minute and P. Chaudhari in the 72nd minute), while Kerala Blasters remained free of cautions.
