Keçiörengücü concedes late comeback to Erzurum BB in tense match
Ankara, Turkey – In a match held at the Aktepe Stadium, Keçiörengücü saw Erzurum BB come back in the final minutes, ending the match in a draw. H. Bulut put the home side ahead in the 12th minute, after an assist from O. Roshi, making it 1 to 0. Despite enjoying considerably less ball possession (26% compared to Erzurum BB’s 74%) and taking fewer shots (6 compared to 14), Keçiörengücü maintained the lead for most of the match. The match was characterized by tension, with a total of six yellow cards (three for each team) and one red card for Keçiörengücü in added time. Erzurum BB pressed in the final moments and managed to equalize with a goal from C. Sylla in the 90th minute, assisted by M. Rodriguez. In the same minute, E. Tozlu converted a penalty, establishing the final 2 to 1 for Erzurum BB. Referee Direnc Tonusluoglu had a difficult task in maintaining control of a match with numerous fouls (14 for Keçiörengücü and 10 for Erzurum BB).
