Ankara witnessed a thrilling match at Aktepe Stadı on May 4th, where Ankaragücü defeated Keçiörengücü 3-2 in a game corresponding to round 37 of the 2024 Turkish 1. Lig season. Owusu was the standout player, scoring two goals, one of them a penalty. Keçiörengücü started strongly, taking the lead with a goal from Yildiz in the 45th minute, assisted by Rroca. However, Ankaragücü responded quickly and turned the game around before halftime thanks to Owusu’s goal in the 43rd minute, assisted by Rotariu. The second half was more eventful. Owusu scored a penalty in the 61st minute, and Cephas extended the lead in the 65th minute with an assist from Schulz. Yildiz scored again for Keçiörengücü in the 90th minute, but it was too late to prevent Ankaragücü’s victory. The match was marked by the expulsion of a Keçiörengücü player and several yellow cards for the home team. Ankaragücü dominated in shots (11 to 6) despite having less possession (47% compared to Keçiörengücü’s 53%).
