Dramatic Collapse of Kawasaki Frontale at Home Against Avispa Fukuoka
Kawasaki, Japan – In a match filled with emotions and controversies, Kawasaki Frontale suffered a painful defeat at their home stadium, Uvance Todoroki Stadium by Fujitsu, against Avispa Fukuoka. Usui in the 85th minute and K. Konno in the 88th minute, leaving Kawasaki Frontale with no options. Ball possession heavily favored Avispa Fukuoka with 68%, while Kawasaki Frontale had 32%. The visiting team also dominated in shots, with 19 compared to Frontale’s 8. Referee Hayato Shimizu had a hectic night, showing multiple cards to Kawasaki Frontale players, reflecting the team’s frustration with the numerical disadvantage.
