Kashiwa Reysol falls to Vissel Kobe in a thrilling match
Kashiwa Reysol suffered a defeat against Vissel Kobe in an exciting match played at the SANKYO FRONTIER Kashiwa Stadium on November 30th, 2024. The game, part of the J1 League’s 37th round, was characterized by Vissel Kobe’s dominance in possession and the late red card for Diego.
Kashiwa Reysol took the lead in the 5th minute with a goal from K. Kinoshita, assisted by K. Tezuka. However, their advantage was short-lived. Kinoshita received a yellow card at 30 minutes, and Diego another at 31 minutes. Vissel Kobe controlled possession (70%) and created more scoring opportunities (12 shots, 3 on target), although Kashiwa Reysol managed 10 shots, 2 on target.
In the dying moments of the game, Vissel Kobe turned the match around. Y. Osako missed a penalty in the 90th minute, but immediately afterwards Y. Muto scored to make it 1-1, assisted by R. Hirose.
