OFI Crete defeated Kallithea 3-1 in a match played at the Stadio Apóstolos Nikolaidis in Athens, corresponding to round 24 of the Greek Super League 1. Despite having less possession (45%), OFI showed greater effectiveness in front of goal. T. Nuss (28′) and E. Salcedo (30′) put the visitors ahead with two goals in just two minutes. An own goal by M. Mellado (43′) extended OFI’s lead before halftime. Kallithea, with 55% possession and 18 shots (8 on target), tried to react in the second half, managing to pull one back thanks to a goal by M. Mellado (60′). However, OFI managed to defend their advantage, despite accumulating four yellow cards throughout the game. Kallithea also received one yellow card. The match was marked by intensity and the fight for the ball, with a total of 20 fouls committed.
