Juventude and Mirassol played an exciting match at Estádio Alfredo Jaconi in Caxias do Sul, Rio Grande do Sul, this Saturday, April 20th, as part of the fifth round of the 2025 Brazilian Serie A. The match, refereed by Paulo Belence Alves Dos Prazeres Filho, ended with a thrilling 2-3 victory for Mirassol.
The game was marked by high intensity and a constant exchange of opportunities. Juventude opened the scoring in the 24th minute with a goal from Enio, but Mirassol responded quickly with a goal from Iury Castilho in the 33rd minute. Before halftime, Batalla put Juventude back in the lead (45′). However, Mirassol managed to come back in the second half, first with a penalty converted by Reinaldo in the 72nd minute and holding on to the lead until the final whistle.
Despite the loss, Juventude showed a good offensive capacity, with 18 shots (6 on target), while Mirassol dominated possession (55%) and also managed to create a large number of scoring chances (25 shots). Both teams received two yellow cards each. The match was a reflection of the competitive balance of Serie A, with alternating periods of dominance and a close final result.
