Grêmio Defeats Juventude in Hard-Fought Match in Caxias do Sul
Caxias do Sul, Rio Grande do Sul – In a match valid for the 11th round of the Brazilian Serie A, Grêmio defeated Juventude at the Estádio Alfredo Jaconi. The match, refereed by Raphael Claus, was a tactical duel with moments of great intensity.
Grêmio opened the scoring early, in the 14th minute, thanks to a goal by M. Braithwaite from a penalty. The initial advantage gave confidence to the visiting team, which extended its lead in the 38th minute with a goal by C. Olivera, after an assist from F. Cristaldo.
