Oriente Petrolero defeats Jorge Wilstermann in a thrilling match
Cochabamba, November 29, 2024 – Oriente Petrolero secured victory against Jorge Wilstermann in a thrilling encounter at the Estadio Félix Capriles in Cochabamba, corresponding to matchday 23 of the Bolivian Primera División Clausura. The match, refereed by E. Canedo, was marked by its intensity and the numerous cards, with a total of 8 yellow cards and 2 red cards.
Despite having less possession (37%), Oriente Petrolero proved more efficient in attack. They took the lead with goals from D. Rodriguez (28′) and G. Alvarez (61′), demonstrating great effectiveness in front of goal. Jorge Wilstermann, with 63% possession, responded with goals from S. Echeverria (26′) and H. Bobadilla (90′), but it wasn’t enough to avoid defeat.
