Bolívar defeats Jorge Wilstermann in a thrilling match in Cochabamba
The Estadio Félix Capriles in Cochabamba hosted an exciting match between Bolívar and Jorge Wilstermann, corresponding to matchday 25 of the 2024 Clausura of the Bolivian First Division. Bolívar emerged victorious with a 3-2 scoreline in a game marked by tension and expulsions.
Bolívar dominated possession (66%) and created more scoring chances (13 shots, 7 on target). Yimi Rocha opened the scoring in the 20th minute, assisted by Bruno Savio. However, Jorge Wilstermann responded with goals from Harold Bobadilla (29th minute) and Ramiro Amaral (45th minute), the latter assisted by Miguel Tellez, to go into halftime with the lead.
The second half began with the expulsion of Roberto Orihuela from Bolívar, after accumulating two yellow cards (one yellow card in the 22nd minute, and a red card in the 45th minute). Despite being a man down, Bolívar managed to equalize with a penalty by Fabio Gomes in the 90th minute.
