Iraq Secures Victory Against Jordan in Tightly Contested Match in Amman
Amman, Jordan – In a World Cup qualifying match, Iraq emerged victorious against Jordan at the Amman International Stadium. The game, played on June 10th, was marked by a fierce midfield battle, reflected in the number of fouls committed by both teams (13 for Jordan, 9 for Iraq) and the yellow cards shown.
Jordan, with 40% possession, attempted to create danger with 8 shots, although none of them were on target. Iraq, on the other hand, dominated possession with 60% and demonstrated greater precision in their attacks, with 4 of their 6 shots directed at the goal.
