Jong PSV and Roda JC played an exciting match at the PSV Campus De Herdgang in Eindhoven, Netherlands, for matchday 18 of the 2024 Eerste Divisie. The game, refereed by M. Perez, ended with a 3-4 victory for Roda JC. Jong PSV started with 57% possession and opened the scoring in the 17th minute through a goal by J. Uneken. However, Roda JC responded strongly, scoring four goals. R. Leijten (52′), E. Pena Zauner (85′), and T. Cukur (88′) sealed the away win. T. Abed scored Jong PSV’s second goal in the 78th minute. The match was characterized by its intensity, with numerous goal-scoring opportunities for both teams (Jong PSV 9 shots, 4 on target; Roda JC 16 shots, 9 on target). Four yellow cards were shown, one to Jong PSV and three to Roda JC. Despite their possession advantage, Jong PSV couldn’t prevent the defeat against a more clinical Roda JC.
