Despite Jeonbuk Motors enjoying a significant possession advantage (61%), Sydney FC proved more effective in front of goal. Two goals from Patrick Klimala, one in the 36th minute and another in the 66th, sealed the win for the visitors. Klimala, who received a yellow card in the 84th minute, was the standout performer.
