Cukaricki Edges Out Jedinstvo Ub in Tight Beograd Encounter
Cukaricki secured a victory over Jedinstvo Ub in a closely fought match at the Stadion Event Place in Beograd. The game, part of the 24th round of the 2024 Serbian Super Liga regular season, ended 1-0 in favor of the home side. Referee N. Petrović officiated the match.
M. Cvetkovic scored the winning goal in the 43rd minute, assisted by U. Miladinovic. While possession was relatively even (51% for Cukaricki and 49% for Jedinstvo Ub), Cukaricki proved more clinical in front of goal, registering 13 shots (3 on target) compared to Jedinstvo Ub’s 8 (3 on target). Both teams played a physical game, evident in the high number of fouls (15 by Cukaricki and 16 by Jedinstvo Ub) and yellow cards (two for each team). The match was tense and featured several stoppages due to fouls. Despite the lower number of shots on target, Jedinstvo Ub put up a strong fight but ultimately couldn’t break down the Cukaricki defense.
