Charlton Stuns Ipswich on Home Turf
Ipswich, England – In a match held at Portman Road, Charlton Athletic pulled off a surprise victory against Ipswich Town, despite the home team’s dominance in possession. The game, corresponding to matchday 11 of the Championship, was played under the watchful eye of referee Farai Hallam.
Ipswich controlled possession with 67%, generating a total of 29 shots, although only 4 of them found the target. In addition, the home side won 16 corner kicks but failed to convert them into goals.
