Inter Milan secured a 2-1 victory over Udinese at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Milan, in a Serie A 2024 matchday 30 fixture. The game, played on March 30th at 4 PM, was officiated by Daniele Chiffi. Inter dominated possession, controlling 60% of the game. However, Udinese proved dangerous on the counter-attack.
Inter’s goals came early, with a brace from their forwards: Marko Arnautovic opened the scoring in the 12th minute, assisted by Federico Dimarco, and Davide Frattesi doubled the lead in the 29th minute, also assisted by Dimarco. Udinese pulled one back in the 71st minute through a goal by O. Solet. Despite the goal, Inter maintained control, though with less cutting edge in the second half. Inter’s accuracy was lacking, with only 2 out of 13 shots on target, reflecting their difficulty in extending their lead. Inter finished with two yellow cards, while Udinese received none. Despite Udinese’s chances (4 shots on target), Inter’s defensive solidity, combined with efficiency in key moments, secured the win.
