Inter Milan secured a convincing 3-1 victory over Parma at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Milan, in a Serie A matchday 15 clash of the 2024 season. The home side dominated possession, controlling 56% of the game. Federico Dimarco opened the scoring in the 40th minute, assisted by Henrikh Mkhitaryan. Barella extended the lead in the 56th minute, also assisted by Mkhitaryan. Parma pulled one back in the 81st minute with an own goal by Matteo Darmian, but Marcus Thuram sealed the win for Inter in the 67th minute, assisted by Yann Bisseck. Inter had 18 shots, 5 on target, while Parma managed only 4 shots, with just one on target. Inter also showed greater discipline, receiving only one yellow card compared to Parma’s one.
