River Plate Dominates Instituto in Córdoba with a Resounding Victory
Ciudad de Córdoba, Provincia de Córdoba – In a match held at the Estadio Juan Domingo Perón, River Plate convincingly defeated Instituto Córdoba in a game corresponding to the Liga Profesional Argentina. The visiting team demonstrated its superiority with 63% possession and greater effectiveness in front of the opponent’s goal.
The score was opened in the 44th minute with a goal by F. Colidio, assisted by M. Salas, giving River Plate the lead just before halftime. Just one minute later, S. Lencina extended the difference with a goal, after an assist from F. Colidio. The first half was also marked by two yellow cards for River Plate, one for S. Lencina in the 27th minute and another for G. Montiel in the 45th minute.
In the second half, Instituto Córdoba tried to react, but encountered a solid River Plate defense and effective attack. In the 67th minute, S. Lencina scored again, again assisted by F. Colidio, consolidating the lead for the visitors. The situation became even more complicated for Instituto when F. Mac Allister received a red card in the 73rd minute. For River Plate there were yellow cards for F. R. Alarcon, M. Acuna and L. Martinez Quarta. The last goal of the match came in the 89th minute, scored by Giuliano Galoppo, after an assist from N. Fernandez, sealing the victory for River Plate. J. Franco received a yellow card in the 88th minute.
