Goalless Draw in Mendoza Between Independiente Rivadavia and Huracán
Mendoza, Argentina – Independiente Rivadavia and Huracán played to a 0-0 draw at the Estadio Juan Bautista Gargantini, in a match corresponding to the tenth round of the Liga Profesional Argentina. The match, refereed by Nazareno Arasa, was characterized by a tight game in midfield and few clear scoring opportunities.
Huracán dominated possession with 53% compared to Independiente Rivadavia’s 47%. However, this advantage in possession did not translate into a clear advantage on the scoreboard. Huracán attempted more shots (17) than Independiente Rivadavia (13), but only 4 were on target, compared to the Mendoza team’s 2.
