Iceland suffered a resounding defeat against Kosovo in a thrilling match played at the Estadio Enrique Roca de Murcia. The game, corresponding to the UEFA Nations League 2024 B/C Playoffs, ended with a 4-1 scoreline in favor of Kosovo. Iceland started well, taking the lead in the 2nd minute thanks to a goal from Oskarsson, assisted by Gudmundsson. However, Kosovo reacted strongly and turned the game around before halftime with two goals from Muriqi (minutes 35 and 45), the second assisted by Rashica.
