Huachipato Secures Victory in Tense Match Against Unión La Calera
Talcahuano, Chile – In a hard-fought match at the Estadio CAP, Huachipato secured a narrow victory against Unión La Calera, in a game marked by intensity and cards. From the outset, the match became an uphill battle for La Calera with the expulsion of K. Mendez in the 3rd minute. Despite being a man down and enjoying greater ball possession (62%), Unión La Calera failed to create goal-scoring opportunities. Huachipato, with 38% possession, also failed to generate danger in the rival goal until the fateful 85th minute, when an own goal by F. Campos Mosqueira gave them the decisive advantage.
