Huachipato Stages Comeback to Defeat Deportes La Serena in Thrilling Match
Talcahuano, Chile – In a vibrant encounter at the Estadio CAP, Huachipato staged a dramatic comeback to defeat Deportes La Serena 3-2 in the sixth round of the 2025 Chilean Primera División. The match, refereed by Piero Maza, was marked by intensity and a fluctuating scoreline.
Deportes La Serena took the lead in the 7th minute with a goal from J. Vargas, assisted by F. Chamorro. However, Huachipato quickly equalized with a penalty converted by L. Altamirano in the 11th minute. The second half was even more exciting. Huachipato took the lead in the 66th minute with a goal from M. Briceno, before sealing the victory with a goal from C. G.
