Henan Jianye secured a resounding 4-1 victory over Qingdao Jonoon in a thrilling match at the Zhengzhou Hanghai Stadium. The game, part of the 2025 Chinese Super League round 8, took place in Zhengzhou on April 20th at 10:30 AM. Despite Qingdao Jonoon’s early lead with a goal from Jin Yonghao (assisted by Song Wenjie) in the 25th minute, Henan Jianye dominated possession (55%) and ultimately controlled the match. Henan Jianye’s second-half surge saw goals from Lucas Maia (65th minute), Zhong Yihao (71st minute), and F. Acheampong (80th minute) sealing their victory. The match was a feisty affair, with a total of eight yellow cards shown. Despite Qingdao Jonoon’s efforts, Henan Jianye’s attacking prowess proved too much to handle.
