Gualberto Villarroel Crushes Guabirá in a Dominant Display in Oruro
Gualberto Villarroel SJ achieved a resounding 5-0 victory over Guabirá in a match played at the Estadio Jesús Bermúdez in Oruro, part of the 22nd round of the 2024 Bolivian Primera División Clausura. The game, played on November 17th at 7 PM, was characterized by the home team’s dominance, controlling 60% of possession and creating numerous scoring opportunities.
The goals arrived in the second half. Luis Ali opened the scoring in the 40th minute, assisted by J. Ramallo. Jhonatan Sanguinetti extended the lead in the 62nd minute, assisted by B. Sobrero. The match also saw several yellow cards, four for Gualberto Villarroel and three for Guabirá. Despite the defeat, Guabirá managed 8 shots on target, demonstrating some attacking intent.
