Sturm Graz Stages Comeback to Defeat Grazer AK in Tense Match
Sturm Graz defeated Grazer AK 3-1 in a tense match at the Merkur Arena in Graz, Austria, in the 21st round of the Austrian Bundesliga. The game, played on March 9th, 2025, was marked by numerous yellow and red cards issued by referee Harald Lechner.
Grazer AK started strongly, creating some early chances and unsettling the Sturm Graz defense. Despite Sturm Graz dominating possession (70%), Grazer AK managed 11 shots (3 on target) and took the lead in the 78th minute through a goal by Perchtold.
