Gornik Zabrze Overcomes GKS Katowice in Goal-Filled Match
ZABRZE, Poland – Gornik Zabrze defeated GKS Katowice in an exciting Ekstraklasa match, 2025 Season, played at the Stadion im. Ernesta Pohla. The match, refereed by Szymon Marciniak, saw Gornik Zabrze dominate in possession with 51% compared to GKS Katowice’s 49%.
The first goal came in the 40th minute thanks to P. Hellebrand, assisted by O. Sow, giving Gornik the lead. In the second half, S. Liseth extended the lead in the 53rd minute with an assist from L. Ambros. However, GKS Katowice found a breather with an own goal from M. Kuusk in the 64th minute.
Despite their efforts, GKS Katowice could not overcome the score.
