GKS Katowice Secures Victory in Thrilling Encounter
Katowice, Poland – In a vibrant and emotion-filled match, GKS Katowice defeated Radomiak Radom in a hard-fought contest at Arena Katowice. The match, part of the seventh round of the Ekstraklasa regular season, was marked by high intensity and numerous cautions.
Radomiak Radom opened the scoring early, in the 14th minute, with a goal by E. Balde assisted by V. Lopes. However, GKS Katowice responded strongly. A. Jedrych equalized in the 25th minute, assisted by B. Nowak. B. Nowak himself put the home team ahead in the 38th minute. Radomiak would not stay behind, and R. Wolski tied the game in the 40th minute.
In the second half, GKS Katowice regained the lead in the 72nd minute thanks to M. Wasielewski. Radomiak Radom tried to react, but a goal by A. Tapsoba was disallowed by VAR for offside in the 90th minute, frustrating their hopes of a draw.
