Villarreal snatches victory from Girona in a tense match
Villarreal edged out Girona 1-0 in a hard-fought match at the Estadi Municipal de Montilivi on May 10th, 2025, in La Liga’s Matchday 35. The game was marked by tension, with five yellow cards shown to both teams. Girona controlled possession with 55%, but Villarreal proved more clinical.
