Gillingham Edges Out Walsall in Tense Clash at Priestfield Stadium
Gillingham, Kent – Gillingham secured a narrow victory over Walsall in a League Two match held at Priestfield Stadium. Referee Ross Martin oversaw a game characterized by its intensity and frequent stoppages.
Gillingham dominated possession with 56%, displaying a greater attacking intent that translated into 8 total shots, although only 2 of them were on target. Walsall, on the other hand, were relegated to a secondary role in possession (44%) and only managed to generate 5 shots, with a single attempt on goal.
