Santa Clara Edges Out GIL Vicente in Hard-Fought Barcelos Match
Santa Clara secured a narrow victory over GIL Vicente in a thrilling match played at the Estádio Cidade de Barcelos on March 15th, 2025. The game, part of the 26th round of the Primeira Liga and officiated by Vasilica Iancu, saw GIL Vicente dominate possession (67%), but ultimately fail to translate that dominance into goals.
The only goal of the match came in the 27th minute, courtesy of J. Costa, assisted by P. Ferreira, for Santa Clara.
