Antwerp Cruises to 3-0 Victory Over Gent in Thrilling Match
Royal Antwerp FC secured a convincing 3-0 win against KAA Gent in a thrilling match at the Planet Group Arena in Gent on May 11th, 2025. The game, part of the Championship Round – 8 of the Jupiler Pro League, was dominated by Antwerp’s clinical finishing and Gent’s struggles after a red card.
T. Chery starred for Antwerp, scoring two goals (minutes 34 and 42), both assisted by M. Balikwisha and M. Bayo respectively. G. Kerk added a third in the 59th minute, again assisted by M. Balikwisha. Despite Gent having more possession (48% to Antwerp’s 52%), Antwerp proved far more efficient in front of goal.
