Gent Stages Spectacular Comeback Against Anderlecht at Home
In a match brimming with emotions and twists, Gent orchestrated an impressive comeback at their Planet Group Arena to defeat Anderlecht. The match, part of matchday 21 of the Jupiler Pro League, concluded with a final score of 5 to 2 in favor of the home side.
Anderlecht started the game strongly, opening the scoring in the 4th minute with a goal from N. Angulo, assisted by M. Cvetkovic. Angulo scored again in the 43rd minute, following an assist from T. Hazard, giving Anderlecht the lead again after W. Kanga had equalized for Gent with a penalty in the 37th minute. The first half was marked by intense play and several yellow cards for both teams.
