Galatasaray Crushes Sivasspor in Dominant Display
Galatasaray secured a commanding 3-1 victory over Sivasspor at Istanbul’s RAMS Park on May 3rd, 2025, in a Süper Lig matchday 34 clash. The home side dominated possession (72%) and unleashed 26 shots, 10 of which were on target.
Lucas Torreira opened the scoring in the 9th minute, followed by Victor Osimhen in the 15th and Bafétimbi Gomis in the 21st. Osimhen added his second in the 31st minute, although one of his goals was ruled out for offside. Sivasspor managed a consolation goal through R. Manaj in the 33rd minute. Despite the late goal, Galatasaray’s dominance was clear throughout. Galatasaray’s superiority in chances and possession was evident, while Sivasspor struggled to create opportunities. Referee Ozan Ergun, from Turkey, issued yellow cards to one player from each team.
