Crystal Palace Thrashes Fulham at Craven Cottage
Crystal Palace convincingly defeated Fulham 3-0 in the FA Cup quarter-finals, played at Craven Cottage, London, on March 29th, 2025. Despite Fulham’s overwhelming possession (71%), Palace proved more clinical in front of goal.
The goals arrived in the first half, with Eberechi Eze opening the scoring in the 34th minute, assisted by Tyrick Mitchell. Just four minutes later, Ismaila Sarr doubled the lead, thanks to an assist from Eze. In the second half, with changes made on both sides, Eddie Nketiah sealed the victory with a goal in the 75th minute, assisted by Daichi Kamada.
The match was characterized by Fulham’s discipline, as they did not receive any yellow cards, while Crystal Palace accumulated three cautions. Despite Fulham’s 16 shots (3 on target), Palace’s defense proved solid. The difference in shots on target (6 for Palace, 3 for Fulham) reflected the winning team’s superiority in finishing. Crystal Palace advances to the FA Cup semi-finals.
