The first goal came just before halftime when Kylian Mbappé capitalized on an assist from Hugo Ekitike to put the home side ahead. In the second half, Adrien Rabiot extended the lead with a goal assisted once again by Mbappé. Florian Thauvin sealed the French victory with a goal in the final minutes, thanks to an assist from Theo Hernandez.
