Millonarios Dominates Fortaleza FC in Bogotá
Millonarios secured a convincing 2-0 victory over Fortaleza FC at the Estadio Metropolitano de Techo. The match, part of the Apertura 2025, round 12 of the Primera A, took place on April 6th at 9:10 PM in Bogotá, refereed by Edwin Ferney Trujillo Castro.
Despite Fortaleza FC holding 60% possession and registering 19 shots (6 on target), Millonarios’ efficiency proved decisive. Goals from K. Palacios (15′) and L. Marimon (36′, assisted by A. Montero) sealed the win. Millonarios, with 40% possession, managed 13 shots, 8 of which were on target.
The game was a physical encounter, with 22 fouls committed (10 by Fortaleza FC and 12 by Millonarios). Two yellow cards were shown, one to D. S. Victoria Palacios of Millonarios (38′) and another to R. Pajaro of Fortaleza FC (90′). Fortaleza FC’s possession advantage couldn’t translate into goals against Millonarios’ solid defense.
